Tom D. Armsey, MD

Dr. Thomas D. Armsey II joined Midlands Orthopaedics on July 10, 2006. He received his undergraduate degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati and his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. His residency was in family medicine at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and the University of California, Irvine, and his fellowship work was in sports medicine at the University of California and Center for Health Sciences in Los Angeles.

Dr. Armsey is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Armsey has served as a team physician for football, basketball and non-revenue sports at UCLA, the University of Kentucky and most recently, the University of South Carolina, where he was directory of primary care sports medicine.
