Michael R. Ugino, MD

Dr. Michael R. Ugino joined Midlands Orthopaedics on July 1, 1983. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., and his medical degree is from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York, where he also completed his internship and residency in general and orthopaedic surgery. He completed a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina. 

Dr. Ugino is a member of the Piedmont Orthopaedic Society, University of Rochester Orthopaedic Society, Lexington Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, S.C. Medical Association, American Society for Surgery for the Hand, Southeastern Hand Club, Columbia Medical Society, American Medical Association, Duke Hand Club and the S.C. Orthopaedic Association.
